Teaching and learning with Amarantus

Amarantus and his Neighbourhood comprises six key topics divided into three sessions of equal length with an overaching Enquiry and final outcome task and can be taught as a single, significant component in a KS3 curriculum. Each individual Topic has its own self-contained enquiry question, outcome task and aims and objectives however, meaning they can also be taught as smaller discrete units if preferred. Every session is fully resourced with detailed lesson plans including key subject knowledge to support non specialist teachers. Click on the arrows to view the material.

NB. Please register for a free teacher login to gain full access to all the teaching materials. To sample what is available, you may view session 1.1 materials without logging in.
